Extend the life of your wire and plow with this control kit from Warn. With a “slack control combo” kit mounted the winch stops automatically when the plow is lowered to the ground and prevents the wire to become too slack with the result that it becomes jammed on the winch drum.
The combo kit also helps you when the plow is lifted up and stops the winch in the right position so that the hook etc. won’t get pulled into the winch and in the worst case tear the cable.
This kit will save you many hours of work and money when the cable will last longer with less chance of jams on the drum and the ripped cable and destroyed winch hook.
