A hidden mount is often preferred as it is the only way to get the car approved with bracket and winch mounted. The winch is protected where it´s mounted, clearance angles does not interfer when driving off road and the car’s length does not increase significantly.
In many cases there is also space left for mounting a roll bar with lights in the front.
The bracket is tested for winches with pulling forces of up to 4 300kg. The bracket comes complete with all mounting hardware including the roller cover that is mandatory for approval (sometimes the roller cover is ordered separatly, please check).
This winch mount is crash tested and approved.
